Winter Squash, Zucca Marina Di Chioggia   Late  A very old variety from near Venice produces 4-5 pound round fruit, grey/green knobby skin with sweet bright orange flesh.  Also known as the Chioggia Sea Pumpkin, Marina di Chioggia comes from the Italian seaside village of the same name, Chioggia. Its Venetian nicknames include Zucca Barucca and Zucca Santa, which translates to mean holy pumpkin. This plant is vigorous and of excellent production. Its large fruits with bullous skin have a green-gray color, with a slight hollow at the base of the petiole
