Melanzana, Black Beauty Eggplant.  Mid-early.  Vigorous, productive plant.  Round, medium sized fruits with dark purple shiny skin and very few seed inside.  An heirloom variety, Black Beauty Eggplant bears lots of classically shaped, glossy, purple-black fruits that are delicious grilled, baked, in Asian dishes and stir-fries. The fruits weight up to 2 lbs. each.
