Beans, Fragolo Nano Berggold, Bush Beans   Early Dwarf French Bean with white seeds.  The plant is approximately 2 feet tall grows vigorously and produces yellow, stringless, meaty, straight pods about 4 1/2 inches long.  The dwarf "Berggold" bean (Phaseolus vulgaris) is an extremely tasty, yellow-colored variety with oblong pods that is valued for its high disease resistance and high productivity. This early bean cultivar is high in calcium, protein and vitamins, making it a great alternative to contemporary supermarket food of often questionable quality.

Berggold bean seeds should be sown in late spring. The most suitable place for this plant will be a sunny site, with fertile, moist and well-drained soil. The harvest takes place from July to September. Keep in mind that French beans are sensitive to adverse temperatures.

The pods of ripe beans, at least 5 " llong, take on a beautiful golden color that makes them even more palatable. Due to the content of nutrients that are needed by the human body, beans are recommended by nutritionists as a healthy and valuable meal that complements nutritional deficiencies.
