Sunflower Girasole Ornamentale

Sunflower - Girasole Ornamentale Multicolor. Annual. A really lovely mix of tall sunflowers. 90-110 days. Seeds germinate in 2-10 days at 70-75 degrees. Resents transplanting; recommend direct seeding. Plant 3-4 seeds every 12-14 inches, thin to one. Prefers full sun, fertile soil. Plants grow 4-5 feet high.   4 gram packet- approximately 200 seeds.

We have had plants  grow 100" and more - so I had trouble reaching up to cut the blooms towards the end of the season. They produced lovely flowers until frost, very attractive and an excellent cut flower. Good growth of side shoots after the primary flower is cut. Good seedling emergence. Require heavy stakes. A real joy to grow.
