Chicory, Cicoria Palla Rossa Tardiva. Mid-late. Contained head (ball chicory) with rounded, meaty leaves and white ribs which are tender and crunchy. Plant with a thick, very compact cap. Red, large, tender leaves with marked white, crunchy streaks. Excellent resistance to low temperatures.   Direct sow or transplant:  JUNE to JULY, transplanting from JULY to AUGUST, direct sowing from JULY to AUGUST, days 120, harvested from OCTOBER to DECEMBER,
