Lettuce, Lattuga Romana Bionda Degli Ortolani is a mid-early romaine lettuce variety with a large upright head.   Romaine lettuce with large tight head of dark green crunchy leaves. Summer sowing Autumn harvest; does best in spring and autumn but all year in cooler climates. Grow from seedlings or direct with 40x30cm apart. Keep well watered. 65 or so days to picking.It's consistent blonde colored leaves have a crunchy rib used especially in Caesar Salads.
