Cucumber, Cetriolo Lungo Verde Degli Ortolani

Italian Heirloom Cucumber "Lungo Verde Degli Ortolani". "Long Green of the Garden" Mid-Late long 10" dark green cucumbers with a sweet crisp flavor.  Excellent production for a vigorous plant.  Can be grown on the ground, but use a trellis for the straightest fruit.   Strong producing variety with long cylindrical fruits with firm white flesh, smooth skin and few seeds.. Never bitter, prolific, does well in short seasons. The taste is fantastic!  Always produces well. Excellent for use in salads and tzatzki.
