Chicory Misticanza  Tris di Cicorie A Palla Tardive  A varierty of late harvest Cicorias Late plants with good resistance to cold weather with large, tightly wrapped heads  Includes Palla Rosa 6 Sel Agena, Radicchio di Lusia Tardiva and Varigated di Chioggia  Sel Fladige. Not for spring planting. Heading chicorys make a nice round balls. Light green & white leaves with red markings. White stems. Very fancy type. Nice taste, raw or cooked. 100 plus days.

One of the easier to grow radicchios. Very consistent. It has a dark red outer leaf with white markings and a nice white stem.  Can be grown (usually) in the spring if you use transplants. In fall, use transplants spaced 12 inches apart or direct seed, 3/4 seeds every 12 inches and thin to one plant. Rows at 12-14 inches. Also make a nice baby greens for salads; spread seed on a well prepared bed and harvest when 3-5 inches tall.
